This property was a short sale transaction and the home was listed for sale at $449,000. The home received multiple offers (8 in total) and I was able to help my clients purchase the home for $400,000.

I'm pleased to announce that my Eichler listing located at 1080 Las Ovejas in San Rafael just closed escrow today.
I assisted my sellers in preparing the home for sale, aggressively marketed and pre-marketed the home both "online" and "offline", and was able to attract multiple offers on this mid-century modern home within 1 week of hitting the market. While this transaction represents my 7th Eichler home sold year-to-date (the most of any Realtor in Marin County1), this property represented my 3rd Eichler listing this year to receive multiple offers.

Trader Joe's Is Coming
It's true. I saw it with my own two eyes. Trader Joe's is opening a new location in Marin. I snapped the photo to the left at Cost Plus Plaza. Store officials confirmed that the new loacation will be open later this month.
Now local residents in Southern and Central Marin won't have to fight the traffic at the San Rafael store anymore. They can head to Larkspur to do their Trader Joe's shopping.
Trader Joe's is very meticulous about how, when, and where they expand their network of stores. So their decision is great for local shoppers, and Marin real estate. Because sometimes it's little details like where the nearest grocery store is, and which one it is, affects potential buyer's decisions. This will be yet another…

The mall is currently undergoing a major $75 million rennovation and H&M will clearly function as an "anchor tenant" at the mall which will attract consumers from across Marin County. This new store will serve as the first H&M store in Marin and will undoubtedly be a popular destination for consumers of all ages.
We look forward to the arrival of the H&M Marin and would welcome the opportunity to serve any progressive…

We've just passed the mid-point for 2009 so I wanted to provide a quick update on the market for Eichler Homes in Marin County & San Francisco, CA.
A total of 19 Eichler homes have sold in San Rafael from January 1 - June 30, 2009. In the second quarter of this year ("Q2"), 10 Eichler homes were sold and I'm proud to say that I was responsible for 50% of all Eichler Home Sales in San Rafael during the second quarter of 2009 (representing either sellers or buyers).
Taking a closer look at Q2 home sales, the market for homes priced under $750,000 was quite hot in both Marin & San Francisco. The demand for homes was fueled by competitive interest rates which fell as low as 4.35% for jumbo loans. Additionally, FHA loans were…
